Jasmine Tang Despite logistics for the Tokyo Olympics are still being worked out, Nike isn’t hesitating to celebrate both the international sporting event and the participating Team USA. The upcoming “Summer Of Sports” Pack, for instance, has models such as the Nike Air Force 1 embracing all five colors of the Olympic rings. Next up to join this multi-Swooshed collection is no other than one of the brand’s newest silhouettes—the Nike Waffle One.
The pair flaunts a crisp white lightweight mesh upper that is complemented by soft grey suede lacestays and overlays on the toe and heel. Profile Swooshes are in a bright blue, although the lateral side sees additional checks to follow the “Summer Of Sports” theme. In full Olympics glory, the aforementioned mini Swooshes flaunt shades of green, yellow, and red. The silhouette’s signature stacked sole design is exhibited in a stark white and finished off with a black Waffle outsole.
