Three quarters of a century ago, the NBA officially came to be, merging the two most notable basketball associations of the time. Nike, in celebration of this second Diamond Anniversary, is bringing out a very special Dunk Low in honor of the League itself.
In colorway, the pair mirrors parts of the institution’s logo. The reddish orange of its backdrop, for example, is cast atop the toe, eye stay, and sole, while the fixtures both underneath and adjacent opt for black and white neutrals. And though it may seem simple at first glance, the pair is complete with a special, commemorative tongue label and a diamond-imprinted dubrae.
For a quick look at this surprise reveal, see below. Currently, it’s set to release — likely through Nike SNKRS — this October alongside a second colorway.
In other news, the Nike Air Force 1 Bling is equally bold.
