Michael Le For years, Nike has catered to women in unique ways, often turning their existing silhouettes into abstract exclusives. But more recently, the Swoosh — as well as Jordan Brand — have opted to craft brand new concepts, including but not limited to the Jordan Air Mae.
Today, the silhouette is back and better than ever, adding to its catalog a number of seasonal colorways. Here, Maroon dresses much of the upper, dyed deep into the rope laces, ripstop upper, and suede/leather overlays. The foxing and heel clip contrast in black like the eyelets and pulls, while the Air Units below complement with a deep red polish. White midsoles encase said cushioning, laid just over top a vintage-esque “Sail” bottom.
