Jasmine Tang By crossing over Nike’s cushioning technologies with the Nike SB line, the Swoosh has been able to craft a shoe with a skate-minded design that manages to deliver superior comfort—the Nike SB Bruin React. The React foam-cushioned skate shoe will soon be releasing a new colorway that pairs a soothing light mint with a contrasting dark navy.
While the forefoot and lacestays opt for a suede build, the hindfoot sees a striped nylon material. The heel tab introduces another texture into the mix by exhibiting a smooth leather makeup. These varying materials are all tinted in a soft mint to create a single-colored base. To offset the light color, navy is applied to the pebbled leather profile Swooshes and Nike SB Bruin React branding on the tongue label. A white sole unit consisting of Nike React foam and a herringbone tread outsole sits underneath to complete the skate-ready style.
