First teased in early April as part of the Air Jordan Holiday 2021 collection, the hand-crafted Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Archaeo Brown” has recently surfaced in unofficial product shots.

Although the pair’s “Black/Archaeo Brown/Dark Chocolate” color palette isn’t entirely new to Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker, its application is. While not as muted as the Air Jordan 1 “Bio Hack” that released on September 5th, 2020, the upcoming option indulges in a similar color-blocking. Shades of brown surround the forefoot and ankle, while brighter green and burgundy animate the lace guards and bottom heel panel, respectively. Toe boxes and underlays around the heel further introduce an experimental approach to Peter Moore’s iconic design by way of silver accents. Together, each component creates one of the most refreshing styles in the AJ1’s history.

Enjoy a first-look at the pair here below, and anticipate a tentative Nike SNKRS release on December 19th.
