With the likes of the Air Force 1 Shadow and the Air Force 1 Pixel, the classic AF 1 has undergone plenty of bold takes that elevate the sneaker from its initial ’80s basketball status. The model is ready to get creative again with the release of a sleek, near triple-white Nike Air Force 1 Experimental.
As seen from the collaboration with USPS, the Experimental distinguishes itself from other AF 1 iterations with its vacuum-sealed uppers for an inventive texture. These white uppers are complemented by the tongue’s grey elastic pull cord and the heel tab loop, delivering a tonal look overall. An exposed foam tongue further enhances the futuristic yet deconstructed design. For a final touch of color, the pair is complete with a neon sticker-like label on the heel. This label includes branding to denote the model’s placement in the N.354 line—Nike’s collection of rather experimental looks.
Take a closer look at the Air Force 1 Experimental below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months.
