Parley Brings Recycled Content To the adidas 4DFWD

Parley Brings Recycled Content To the adidas 4DFWD

In anticipation for the Tokyo Olympics, adidas brought out the brand new 4DFWD, a running shoe built on 17 years of data. And after its inaugural showing, the silhouette will soon link up with long-time partner Parley for a more sustainable make-up.

Like the non-profit’s previous releases, the pair exhibits a bit of moderation, dispersing the recycled features throughout the shoe quite evenly. At a glance, one wouldn’t even be able to tell, its construction primarily dressed in an all black look. The knit throughout the upper as well as the 3D-printed sole are dressed as such, while the stripes along the side and three-piece piping opt for a bright white and blue, respectively. Then, elsewhere, subtle tan accents detail the collar, as well as lace unit’s supportive second string.

For a closer look at Parley’s latest creation, see the official images below. A release scheduled for 2022 on adidas.com.

In other news, an ESPN adidas Forum is on the way.
