Jovani Hernandez adidas has never been shy about collaborating with names (big or small). And for its latest joint-effort, the German sportswear behemoth has tapped two iconic figures for its renowned adidas Stan Smith: Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog.
Part of its eco-friendly “being green” collection, the forthcoming collaboration includes at least two pairs on which the two aforementioned Muppets share the spotlight. Unsurprisingly, Miss Piggy steals some of the spotlight by lending her name and likeness on the right shoe; her partner stays relevant by doing the same on the left shoe. Both adidas Originals propositions replace standard Stan Smith branding on the tongue with the two puppets, while one of the styles features high-res images of both characters across the sock-liners. Underfoot, sole units indulge in off-white and pure-white makeups, allowing details throughout the upper to revel in the spotlight.
