Jasmine Tang The Nike Air Pegasus ’83 has become a tried-and-true silhouette that lives on as a running-turned-lifestyle shoe that boasts a timeless, heritage-runner look. This straightforward style is slowly but surely expanding its collection by adding an “Off Noir” colorway arriving in Europe soon.
A charcoal “Off Noir” shade tints the neoprene-like base, laying down the foundation for a greyscale design. In true Nike Pegasus fashion, the lacestays and overlays on the toe and heel are in a suede fitting. Silver leather animates the profile Swooshes, heel tab, and sockliner, while also adding a slight metallic tinge. To round out the look, a white foam midsole sees a Waffle pattern in black rubber underneath for additional traction and to maintain the silhouette’s classic style.
Take a closer look at the Air Pegasus ’83 below, which will arrive in Europe at retailers such as Overkill on August 6th, with a price tag of $100 USD. Details on a stateside release have yet to come.
