Michael Le Compared to previous signatures, the adidas D.O.N. ISSUE #3 is a slow starter, appearing only a handful of times since its debut earlier in the Summer. However, with the release of the “Team Collection,” the silhouette is seeing its largest influx of colorways yet.
Arriving in a total of six different palettes, the shoe starts with a relatively ordinary base. Textiles, synthetics, and abrasion-resistant TPUs come together along the upper, the construction as a whole tonally straightforward if not for its contrasted branding. Below, the tooling is far more visually interesting, superimposed atop with a subtle print reminiscent of camoflauge. This pattern as well as the aforementioned materials dress up in black, white, grey, navy, blue, and red.
