The New Balance 574’s Sporty Version Gets A “White/Summer Fog” Update

The New Balance 574’s Sporty Version Gets A “White/Summer Fog” Update

Although New Balance has been enjoying a fair amount of attention thanks to its heritage basketball propositions from the 1980s, it continues to deliver compelling styles of its running-focused products. Case in point: A “White/Summer Fog” edition of the sporty New Balance 574.

Reminiscent of a collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS HOMME seen in March, the newly-surfaced pair boasts a pull tab at the heel. Furthermore, synthetic material takes over the mid-foot panels, whereas a robust mesh or suede usually would. Sole units aren’t modified, but they contribute to the sporty aesthetic of the model’s sportier edition via tried-and-proven cushioning and a groove-laden outsole. Flush and non-standard branding at the profiles round out the style’s modernized aesthetic, which has historically been thought of as opposite to the North American company’s image.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and head over to NewBalance.com right not to secure your pair for $85 USD.
