Michael Le After an extensive bout of TB colorways, the Nike KD 14 is back to embracing its more colorful side. Here, alongside an all-over print, the silhouette expressively displays its neons in potential celebration of Durant’s late Aunt Pearl.
“Volt,” though used in seldom, steals a large part of the show, taking up the midsole in near entirety as well as part of the strap whose chiseled exterior quickly gradates to a bright pink. Matching notes can be found elsewhere — especially within the upper’s all-over print, one uncannily reminiscent of retro wallpaper. Blues, yellows, and similar pastels dress alongside, creating a vibrant, floral arrangement that stops only for the aforementioned as well as the blue-dyed heel, lining, and lace.
