Jasmine Tang With the Nike Air Max Genome amongst the Swoosh’s newest silhouettes this year, it is no surprise that the Nike design team has been pumping out new colorways for the model. Their latest efforts include a “Sail” and “Light Bone” pairing that results in a sleek style sure to appeal to minimalists.
The new release flaunts a cream-toned, “Sail” mixed-material base that sits on a stark white midsole piece. The lateral side features a small leather Swoosh in a beige dubbed “Light Bone”—although this element is absent on the medial side. Soft beiges are further applied to the sockliner and branding on the heel tab loop for a subtle touch of color. A full-length Air unit reminiscent of that found on the Nike Air Max 97 rounds out the style for a clean, everyday-ready design.
