To the uninitiated, the newly-surfaced sneaker resembles a shoe once on the brink of being banned from the competitive running space, but closer inspection reveals a slightly-different proposition. The sculpted, robust ZoomX foam midsole maintains its standard off-white arrangement while the highly-breathable and durable knit upper indulges in various shades of blue. Laces and swoosh logos at the lateral heel deviate from their surroundings in a striking yellow tone that pairs well with the shoes’ overall look. While not officially part of a special collection, the VaporFly NEXT% 2‘s insoles feature non-standard images and a quote credited to Nike co-founder, Bill Bowerman, “If you have a body, you are an athlete.”
