Michael Le The Nike Waffle One has quickly become a favorite among the greater public. Thanks to its similarities to sacai’s LDWaffle, the silhouette has easily taken the spotlight, granted more than a small sum of colorways. Here, with its sustainable “Crater” version, we’re to see its uppers dressed in a series of oceanic tones.
Even the tooling veers into this inspiration, its colored scraps not too unlike coral. Behind, the lighter, aqua backdrop plays further into these themes just like the heel clip and Swoosh whose navy nods to darker waters. Above, an entirely different shade of blue dresses the suede and mesh, while the laces contrast in pearly white.
