What do you get when you add skate-ready durability and flexibility to a heritage basketball style like the Nike Air Force 1? The result is the Nike SB Force 58—one of the Swoosh’s newest skateboarding silhouettes. The silhouette is now going premium in classic triple-black and triple-white colorways that also ditch its usual canvas and suede construction for new materials.
Instead of a mix of suedes and canvas as seen on the initial Nike SB Force 58 four-piece release, these two new arrangements are made from soft, supple leather. The leather uppers and perforated toe bring the SB Force 58 Premium even closer to replicating the heritage basketball DNA. As for skate-approved elements, the flexible sole includes a pattern of tri-star shapes underfoot that expand and contract—a unique design that provides improved grip and boardfeel. Furthermore, a stretchy internal gusset to hug the foot tops off the arrangements while ensuring a secure fit.
