Michael Le FlyEase is undoubtedly among Nike’s most important innovations, allowing those previously unable to enjoy the brand’s product line. And while currently quite slim, the selection is due to expand very soon with offerings like this upcoming Air Jordan 1.
One of surely more to come, the colorway strikes a balance between new and retro. While heritage-influenced in its use of Jumpman signatures, the palette quickly sets itself apart in arrangement, opting to dress much of the profile in dark black. The tongue, FlyEase strap, and counter follow suit, setting a neutral ground on which the bright red Swoosh, Wings, and lining can shine to their fullest. Finally, a deep shade of grey rounds out the upper at the collar, forefoot, and heel.
