Nike Adds A Poetic Message To This Woodsy Air Force 1 Shadow

Nike Adds A Poetic Message To This Woodsy Air Force 1 Shadow

An edgy, deconstructed take on the Nike Air Force 1, the Air Force 1 Shadow has introduced a slew of bold colorways that remix the classic look of the AF 1. The women’s-exclusive silhouette showcases its versatility as it deviates from its vivid tendencies to deliver a rather understated style that is sure to suit plenty of upcoming fall fits.

This new leather and suede number starts off with a Sail-toned smooth leather base, with the midsole in a matching shade. Grey suede overlays follow while applying the Shadow’s signature layering techniques. The mix of greys is then offset by brown accents that appear as the heel tab, AIR-branded rubber overlay, and the outsole. For a final hint of soft color, the lace dubrae and label on the tongue are in a pastel blue. The thoughtful color palette results in a new design that is certainly lifestyle-friendly yet doesn’t lose any of the Shadow’s intrinsic playfulness. What truly separates these Shadows from the rest is the poetic message that lives on the left insole of the shoe.

Take a closer look at the AF1 Shadow below, which will arrive at Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $120.
