Jovani Hernandez Since its debut on June 11th, 2020, the Nike Space Hippie 01 has kept a quiet profile relative to some of its “Trash Transformed” co-stars. The model, however, is looking to change that with a newly-surfaced “Black/Dark Grey/Off-Noir/Midnight Navy” colorway.
Space Yarn construction across the upper predominantly indulges in a dark blue tone, while reinforcement at high-wear zones and profile swooshes deviate in a grey-like hue. Detailing on and along the tongue further deviate from their dark surroundings, although Crater Foam cushioning underfoot also delivers an off-white arrangement. The upcycled scraps that went into producing the Swoosh’s big bold bet for its Nike Space Hippie line (and “Move to Zero” initiative) further proffer some contrast to the mostly-dark makeup that lands on the latest 01 proposition.
No official Nike.com release date has been confirmed by the brand, but this pair is likely to arrive before 2021 ends. In any case, enjoy images of the shoes ahead.
