Sergio Lozano’s Nike Air Max 95 design continues to stand the test of time as it is one of the most globally coveted sneakers more than two-and-a-half decades since its release. Part of its successful proliferation is the ample amount of colorways made for specific demographics, like the one that can’t say no to an all-pink sneaker. In comes this latest women’s Air Max 95 that achieves that signature gradient look with various shades of pink, but a closer inspection reveals some extra detailing not typical with the 95 model.
The uppermost layer just beneath the mesh overlay is a camouflage-style pattern that we’ve seen on other Air Max 95s and Air Max 97s. Just beneath that is a textured layer that lends to a technical aesthetic. The slightly golden glittery thread used to embroider the Swoosh adds a bit of that feminine flair.
