Since dressing the Air Jordan 1, “University Blue” has only become more and more popular. And with the Air Jordan 6 joining the UNC ranks in 2022, it’s no surprise that the shoe is already one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
Compared to its alumni, the AJ6 makes lighter use of the aforementioned blue. Alongside subtle cameos at the pull tab and tongue, the pantone dresses the suede panels of the forefoot, which sit between the white leather paneling that runs throughout the upper. Black does well to add further dimension elsewhere, coloring details such as the lining and midsole as well as the jock tag that’s stitched onto the heel.
