Michael Le Founded by Darryl Brown — former stylist to the legendary Kanye West — Midwest Kids is soon to officially join the adidas family. And by way of their upcoming Forum ’84 Lo, the label celebrates its roots with a grounded yet elevated colorway.
Hairy suedes are among the collaboration’s most standout features. Clad in black, the material adds a vintage feel to the toe and counter, its distressing directly contrasted by the smooth leathers immediately adjacent. A cream tone is then sandwiched between both the lateral and medial, while darker gum bottoms outfit underfoot. Finally, red accents round out the palette at certain points, leading the eye from the Three Stripes to the heel and then finally to the Midwest Kids insignia.
