Nike Remembers Their “The One Line” Sneakers With The Air Force 1 “NAI-KE”

Nike Remembers Their “The One Line” Sneakers With The Air Force 1 “NAI-KE”

Back in the 1980s, Nike teamed up with their Chinese factory to create a series of test shoes. Dubbed “The One Line,” the collection saw simple runners recontextualized with a large stripe instead of the more familiar Swoosh. Here, this design lives on thanks to the Air Force 1 “NAI-KE,” which pays homage to both the shoes and the brand’s relationship with China.

Grey suedes are used along the forefoot and rear, sandwiching the white section that wraps from the lateral to the medial. A matching Swoosh is overlaid adjacent, adding a more modern twist on the aforementioned pack’s original concept. The heel tab, then, sports the titular “NAI-KE” spelling, while the inside tongue offers meaningful “Elevating Inner Peace Through Sports” text.

Enjoy a close-up look at the pair here and sit tight as we they’re to release in Asia on November 9th. It’s unsure whether or not we’ll see a stateside launch.

In other news, the Air Jordan 12 Royalty lands this Saturday.
