Collaborator of the year? A Ma Maniére is certainly making a strong case for that cause due to their impressive and consciously concepted projects with Nike, Jordan, and adidas in 2021. Acting as a sturdy bookend to their eventful 2021 is their Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, officially revealed on their social channels and confirmed for a release on November 24th, 2021. It features a cream white upper with a plum-like shade accented by a reptile-textured Swoosh logo and ankle, completing a luxurious package that mirrors the quality of their Air Jordan 3 collaboration of earlier this year.
For this project, A Ma Maniére states: “Inspired by the realities of daily life in Black communities, the A Ma Maniére Air Jordan 1 is a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity and a testament to the power of unity. Every detail serves to make this moment special for our communities and beyond, empowering and uplifting every voice.”
While official Nike images of the shoes surfaced some weeks ago, the shop shared an official lookbook revealing a matching apparel capsule that includes a hoodie, a bomber, bottoms, and potentially more. Beginning today, consumers can schedule an in-store appointment HERE for a slot between November 15th and 18th during which a raffle will be available. The online release will be held on November 24th, 2021 at 11am ET.
Adult sizing with available sizes at launch ranging from Men’s 3.5/Women’s 5 to Men’s 15/Women’s 16.5 and priced at $200.
