In a short two year span, Salehe Bembury has climbed his way to the ranks of sneaker culture’s finest collaborators. With his New Balance 2002R, the former Versace VP earned his title as FNAA’s designer of 2020; and this year, Bembury is maintaining momentum, offering numerous NB follow-ups and one of the coolest Crocs of the year, the Pollex Clog.
Arguably 2021’s most anticipated non-sneaker, the Pollex Clog is a heavy departure from the brand’s most classic offering. Far more utilitarian in nature and design, the shoe arrives in two colorways: Cucumber and Menemsha. Both are presented in the new mold, which is composed of the designer’s fingerprints merged together, creating a unique shape far more dynamic than what it builds off of. Additionally, holes ventilate at key high-heat areas and the strap can be adjusted or removed depending on your use case.
The raffle for the Pollex Clog will go live from December 14th to December 15th via crocs.com, with retail set at $84.99. Until then, you can enjoy a close-up look at both colorways below.
