Despite an usual 2021-2022 NBA season, LeBron James still has a lot to be excited for. Nike is to thank for much of this, as they’ve provided the athlete his very own Air Force 1 right in time for the Holidays.

Dubbed the “King’s Day,” the colorway intertwines luxury with direct nods to the king himself. His signature lion-headed motif, for example, is given a full body, which prowls atop the blacked out heel tab in blue next to matching palm trees, a crescent moon, and LeBron’s own logo. The Swoosh extends what is effectively a black sky, overlaying it atop the heel and mid-panel’s white and tan checkerboard. Elsewhere, the two neutrals receive their own solid-colored stage: the former across the midsole and lining, the latter atop the forefoot, eye stays, and lace unit. Additionally, the insole features encouraging “Strive For Greatness” text in elegant cursive.

For a closer look at LeBron’s latest Air Force 1, check out the imagery below. They’re currently slated to hit select retailers on December 6th, with a Nike SNKRS release sure to follow.
