As it inches closer to what is sure to be a blockbuster 25th anniversary, the Nike Air Max Plus continues to experiment with both its build and colorways. Soon, Sean McDowell’s design will experiment with “Metallic Teal” accents proposed by an impending Nike Sportswear collection.
Already boasting a women’s Air Force 1 Shadow, the upcoming capsule primarily favors an all-“White” color palette that allows for the aforementioned aqua-reminiscent tone to revel in the spotlight. Profile swooshes, tops of tongues and mid-foot shanks all opt for “Metallic Teal” flair, with the latter two components donning gradient finishes. Modified Air Max units and tread underfoot also follow suit, while the yet-to-be-named collection introduces shimmering silver accessories via the laces.
An official Nike.com release date hasn’t been confirmed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as Spring 2022 inches closer. In any case, enjoy images of the sneakers ahead.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Georgetown” is expected to release in February 2022.
