Ironically assumed by those born in the 2000s, the Y2K style has been enjoying quite the resurgence as of recent. 2000s sneakers, too, are seeing the same treatment; and one of the period’s runners, the adidas Supernova Cushion 7, is returning as a result.
With these two upcoming colorways, the silhouette proffers drastically different aesthetics. The first acts as a reflection of the era, clad with blue and neon green accents in light and heavy prevalence, respectively. Elsewhere, the open mesh construction is shaded white, contrasting the blacks along the profile and the silver metallic that lightly details the toe, eye stays, Three Stripes, and lining. All ounce of color is then lost along the pair’s “Triple Black” counterpart, which fully darkens every element save for the branding.
Enjoy an official look at both options below and expect an overseas release on December 8th, 2021. A US release is still TBD.
In other news, the Home Alone Forum Low is releasing much earlier.
