As the Three Stripes closes out the year with dozens of December Yeezy releases, the German sportswear behemoth is already looking ahead to 2022. Barring any logistical issues, one of the first releases from the European institution may be a college-inspired adidas Forum ’84 Hi collection by Eric Emanuel.
Akin to the design studio’s “McDonald’s All-American” collaboration from April, the newly-surfaced adidas Originals propositions boast high-quality construction and a retro-inspired style. Each option indulges in an off-white tone that harkens back to 1984, while allowing the colors of some adidas-backed college programs to revel in the spotlight. Suede profile 3-Stripes take on hues representing Indiana University, Arizona State, University of Louisville and University of Kansas. In addition to Eric Emmanuel’s signature monogram appearing at the lateral quarter panel, each aforementioned school’s athletic program’s logo replaces traditional trefoil-branding on the tongue label, creating compelling footwear for any game-day activity.
Enjoy official shots of all four pairs here below, and anticipate an adidas.com launch soon.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, the UltraBoost 22 has been modified for even better performance than before.
