The Nike Air Force 1 Low has received countless makeovers since debuting in 1983. And while some of the model’s most-celebrated outfits have been solo-efforts from the North American brand, others have been the result of collaborations with small and big names. CLOT, the brand founded by Edison Chen, has been among those responsible for breathing new life into the 1983-silhouette, covering it with “Rosen Gold” silk overlays at the top of 2020.
While not a one-to-one replica of the aforementioned joint-effort, a newly-surfaced low-top Air Force 1 resembles the collaborative release enough to warrant comparisons. Covered in a light pink tone, the upper features a mix of synthetic leather and satin panels, the latter prominent at the toe box and mid-foot. East Asian iconography is replaced with “NIKE” text on the luxuriously smooth material, further evoking CLOT’s highly-praised collaboration. A vibrant crimson tone joins the mix via the tongue label, satin inner-lining, and heel and midsole-branding. Together, each component creates a compelling option sure to sell out whenever it drops.
No Nike.com release details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change in the first-half of the new year. In any case, enjoy official images of the shoes ahead.
