Jovani Hernandez All-“White” makeovers and the Nike Air Force 1 are one of footwear designs’ most celebrated combinations. For the model’s women’s-exclusive Fontanka-variant, the Swoosh has decided to slightly modify the tonal look with playful touches of iridescence.
As with arguably the most recognizable sneaker of the last 50 years, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in “colorless” synthetic leather across its upper; sole units also opt for a “white-on-white” makeup. And while the sneaker is left to revel in a very simple color palette, the Air Force 1 Fontanka‘s inherently bold aesthetic provides a refreshing feeling. Nike React foam underfoot further updates Bruce Kilgore’s iconic creation, both in comfort and looks. Lastly, panels at the heel and top of the tongue boast a medley of colors via their iridescent finish, which, when paired with the airbrush-reminiscent graphics on the sock-liner, hints at a larger Nike Sportswear collection.
