While the full scope of the “Star Wars” franchise’s trajectory has yet to pan out, it’s inclusion within the world of Disney+ has proven highly-successful and lauded. “The Book of Boba Fett,” the latest series to hit the streaming platform, launched today, December 29th. To celebrate the event, the show’s producers have teamed up with adidas for two sneakers inspired by the Mandalorian armor-donning bounty hunter.
Having previously received his very own adidas Top Ten, Boba Fett now boasts an NMD R1 and Ozelia as part of the latest collection between the aforementioned institutions. Neither upcoming sneakers indulge in obvious color schemes inspired by the genetic clone of Jango Fett, opting instead for subtler arrangements that only true “Star Wars” fans will recognize. The Boost-cushioned offering features a predominantly “Core Black” look, though “Green Oxide” flair borrowed from Boba Fett’s armor appears throughout the upper; his clone number also lands on the sneaker. In comparison, the adidas Ozelia takes after the bounty hunter’s famed Slave I starship. No stealth mode accompanies the chunky shoe, but its “Orbit Grey” and hits of muted green capture the vehicle’s military-grade quality well.
Enjoy official images of the pairs here below, and head over to adidas.com tomorrow, December 30th, to secure your preferred style.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes banner, black Yeezy Slides are expected to launch in 2022.
