adidas Turns Up The Heat With A Trio Of Pepper-Inspired Forums

adidas very obviously has the hots for the Forum, paying it more attention than any other of their many shoes. And soon, that attraction will turn literal as the brand dresses up the silhouette in a series of pepper-inspired colorways.

Through the three-course collection, the theme progressively gets hotter and hotter. First, the mild “Green Pepper” kicks us off, inspiring the dark and light suedes that outfit its Forum Lo. Though one level hotter, the “Orange Pepper” offers a similar make-up, with the warm tone coloring in every part of the upper. Finally, the “Red Pepper” rounds out the trio, its high-top base the darkest and most evidently spicy.

Despite their differences in hue, all three pairs exhibit cohesion with their branding and graphics. At the insole, a spikey-haired individual shoots trefoil-shaped flames out of his mouth, sweating profusely as a result of the high Scoville units. And every change in scale is represented by way of the tongue, which gradually goes from one pepper to three.
