Jovani Hernandez As the Swoosh surely preps for the launch of its latest Nike Air Max proposition, it continues to deliver compelling styles atop the Air Max Pre-Day, a relatively new silhouette rooted in decades-old design.
Abandoning the vibrant orange, pink and purple tones of previously-seen styles, the model has kept things “simple” with its latest ensemble, donning shades of light grey and blue. Quilted nylon bases sit below the standard suede panels that appear along the forefoot, tongue and heel, with both components donning varying blue flavors. Faint neon green enters the mix around the collar, missing an opportunity to animate the big Air Max unit underfoot. Accompanying foam-cushioning and the waffle-patterned outsole opt for an “aged” aesthetic that further harkens back to Nike Running models of decades past.
A stateside Nike.com launch may be in the works, but the sneakers are currently available at Swoosh webstores across Asia. In any case, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
