Michael Le Rather than offer a sequel, adidas Yeezy has opted to build around the 350 v2, tweaking its base to create models like the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 CMPCT. And following its “Slate Blue” debut last December, the silhouette is getting ready for Valentine’s Day, dressing up in an appropriate “Slate Red” colorway.
Far brighter than its predecessor, this pair applies the “Slate Red” hue to near every part of the construction. Even the sole is tinted to complement, masking the white BOOST that sits within. Above, the upper’s knit, lace unit, and elastic collar are outfitted almost entirely in the titular shade, drowning out the light brown hits spread adjacent.
The Yeezy Boost 350 v2 CMPCT “Slate Red” is currently slated to release on February 14th likely through adidas.com/Yeezy and select retailers.
