Nike Brings Back The OG Colorway For The ACG Air Mada Revival

feature image

“If this were a woodland creature, it would be sleek, nimble, friendly, and have big sharp teeth…”

Nike’s original print ad for the ACG Air Mada featured this imaginative copy for its newest hiking shoe, aptly describing it as an approachable yet fierce option for the great outdoors. The original “Sandalwood” was perhaps the most recognizable colorway when the model first launched, and it was quickly embraced by the hiking community for providing able and ample protection and support for those jaunts in nature. In 2022, Nike is bringing the ACG Air Mada back into the fold in some premium lifestyle-focused leather iterations, but it’s ensuring its relevance to its original supporters by re-releasing the one that started it all.

Official images of the ACG Air Mada Lo have appeared in the 1994 colorway, perfectly matching the outdoor aesthetic with hunter green pull-tabs and concord purple accents and base layer. A solid black outsole with is joined by a rubberized toe-cap for added armor for those rocky trails.

Many more colorways are confirmed to be in the works, although it still remains to be seen if the ACG Air Mada Mid will be joining the party. Stay tuned for updates.
