Official Images Of The Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs”

Jordan Brand’s Spring preview gave but a small glimpse of this year’s many standouts, showcasing just teases of Air Jordan 1s, 4s, and the like. And while every pair deserves its own spotlight, one in particular, the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs,” garnered the most attention as it’s been a decade since the colorway’s last Retro.

Originally released in 1997, the “Playoffs” was giving its nickname for the role it played during MJ’s magical run in the ’96-’97 postseason. Years later, the offering was brought back in 2004 and then again in 2012, both of which featured a spec relatively true to the original. The 2022 version, though, seems to bear a subtle difference, its hardware given a finish just slightly darker. Elsewhere, the features are much more accurate, donning black and white leathers, silver tabs, and red branding across the heel and tongue.

For a closer look, check out the official images below. A release is currently slated to land February 19th, with sizes to hit both Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
