The JJJJound x BAPE STA Is Releasing On February 5th

feature image

Late last year, just days before Christmas, JJJJound teased their upcoming collaboration with A BATHING APE, which saw the BAPE STA clad in the Montreal studio’s usual sense of minimalism. The apparel, which was revealed last week, offers a similar design language, as the Made in Japan blanks are only dressed with the capsule’s “A TASTEFUL APE” logo. Soon — this Saturday, specifically — all of the above will hit the digital shelves, and “SOLD OUT” will surely follow soon after.

Finally pictured in better detail, the JJJJound x BAPE STA lacks any noteworthy color. Calf leather is used for the neutral upper as well as the light grey hits along the “STA” logo and heel tab. Round laces in both white and beige are included in the package, lacing up near the top’s metallic silver eyelets and the textile mesh lining. And though BAPE branding is replaced by JJJJound’s at the heel, the Japanese label’s logos remain intact atop the midsole and tongue.

For a closer look at the BAPE STAs, take a peek below. The entire collection is set to launch this Saturday, February 5th, at 12pm EST on JJJJound.com and BAPE’s own online channels and stores.
