This Unreleased Air Jordan 14 Sample Draws Inspiration From Reggie Miller

Originally released in 1998, the Air Jordan 14 is a symbol of Michael Jordan’s love for motorsports, featuring a design directly inspired by the Ferrari. And like many of Tinker Hatfield’s best, the silhouette continues to garner a cult following, despite rarely ever seeing the shelves as often as the Air Jordan 1 or 4. In the years since its debut, there’s been a number of looksee samples as well, one of which has just appeared in detail courtesy of English Sole.

According to the collector, this Air Jordan 14 draws inspiration from Reggie Miller, its palette a nod to the shoes the athlete wore in games. To liken it to an existing colorway, the pair closely resembles the “Thunder,” as it makes use of many of the same tones. Yellow even accents similar points, dressing the “Jumpman” emblem, heel, and the sole but much more lightly. The most notable distinction would be the whites of the midsole, which visually cut against the black leather and nubuck above.

In other news, the Undefeated Air Jordan 4 might actually be releasing this year.
