The adidas Stan Smith “Boba Fett” Is Inspired By The Extremely Rare Rocket Firing Figurine

Though Nike may have celebrated a few Star Wars characters with the Air Presto Mid Utility, none of the three colorways were officially licensed. adidas’ offerings, on the other hand, are the real deal, and Disney just signed off on the upcoming Stan Smith “Boba Fett.”

Fans of the bounty hunter might not instantly recognize the color palette, as the shoe forgoes all nods to Fett’s signature green and yellow armor. Instead, the “Ash Grey” shade used for both the upper and see-through sole pay homage to the extremely rare L-slot prototype figure, which most notably featured rocket firing capabilities. And much like the shoe itself, the entire toy is dressed near entirely in a blue-grey hue.

FUN FACT: The rocket firing Boba Fett figure sold for a whopping $112,926 USD back in 2019 and $165,200 in 2021.

The Stan Smith “Boba Fett” will be available on adidas.com come February 21st. For a closer look, check out the official images added below.

In other news, Jack Harlow just joined the New Balance family.
