A Nike Dunk High “Court Purple” Appears For Women

A Nike Dunk High “Court Purple” Appears For Women

The Nike Dunk High is having more than a moment. Thanks to high-profile co-signs, playful Nike SB collaborations and its similarity to the ever-coveted Air Jordan 1, the shoe has transcended sport and become a fashion and cultural icon.

Taking a break from the dozens of multi-color ensemble that it’s donned in the last three months alone, Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design has recently appeared in a two-tone “White” and “Court Purple” colorway for women. Near-identical to a “Varsity Purple” Nike Dunk seen at the tail-end of 2020, the newly-surfaced pair features a “colorless” smooth leather base that sets the stage for a handful of panels clad in the regal, titular hue. Purple, however, also animates the logo on the tongue label, which wasn’t the case on the women’s pair seen two years ago. Furthermore, tried-and-proven outsoles are given a solid finish on the upcoming sneakers, forgoing the semi-translucent styles from the past. Together, each aforementioned component creates an offering that’ll have countless individuals hoping for a unisex release at some point.

A stateside Nike SNKRS launch hasn’t been confirmed by the brand, but that’s likely to change in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy images of the pair ahead, courtesy of @atmos_tokyo, and find the shoes arriving to retailers across the Asia-Pacific region starting on March 12th.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, several Jordan release dates 2022 are slated for spring.
