Both a bane and blessing, the Jordan Point Lane‘s reliance on past colorways makes it difficult for the silhouette to pave its own way. This upcoming colorway, too, falls victim to past influences, though what it does with heritage colors seems a bit more unique than the shoe’s typical impersonations.
While smooth at a glance, the leather used along the forefoot features a subtle snakeskin-like texture. This adds a bit of complexity only to the palette’s white parts, as the black overlays along the heel are far smoother by comparison. The mesh collar and lace unit are similarly ordinary, as is the sole, which features colorless Air Units and a touch of icy blue.
