The Nike Air Huarache turned 30 years old in 2021. To celebrate, the Swoosh released Tinker Hatfield’s design in handfuls of original and limited colorways. A year removed from the milestone, the “t-shirt for your feet” continues to emerge in compelling styles. Case in point?: A newly-surfaced off-white ensemble.
Consisting of the neoprene, synthetic leather and other plastic components with which it debuted decades ago, the latest take on the Air Huarache indulges in varying shades of a “Bone”-reminiscent tone across its upper. The outer most component on the profiles match the foam midsole’s “colorless” makeup, while the tread underfoot opts for a light gum brown that’s recently emerged on the Air Max 1 “Premium” prepped for Air Max Day 2022. The remainder of the pair’s upper is left to divvy up off-white hues perfect for the warm weather, and perhaps exclusive to women if similarly-colored releases from yesteryear are indicative of anything.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and expect the shoes to hit Nike.com during the summer.
