Nike Air Max 90 Futura Sees An Angelic “Light Bone” And “Summit White” Mix

Nike Air Max 90 Futura Sees An Angelic “Light Bone” And “Summit White” Mix

Currently in its 32nd year on the market, the Nike Air Max 90 continues to be a staple within the brand’s roster of footwear products. And while savvy and casual sneaker fans alike still share an affinity for the model’s most classic colorways, they’ve also come to love experimental takes of Tinker Hatfield’s design.

Recently, the silhouette was introduced in a Futura iteration that combines 1990s sensibilities with future-forward, sustainable efforts. A breathable mesh base reprises its standard role, but is accompanied by different overlays from tip of the toe to spine. Partly made of recycled scraps, panels throughout the upper take on haphazard shapes, just as on sustainability-focused pairs of the Nike Dunk. Profile swooshes also take on a different shape, while “AIR MAX” branding on the mudguard is omitted. Underfoot, sole units maintain their original design, though waffle-patterned tread opts for a semi-translucent, purple finish that contributes to the shoes’ clean “Light Bone” and “Summit White” mix.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch soon.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” is set to release before June ends.
