Easter Pastels Appear On The New Balance XC-72

Easter is fast-approaching — and as Nike has stolen most of the attention these past few months, we almost ignored the fact that New Balance, too, has prepared their own holiday-inspired colorways. Among them, the XC-72 is one of the first to hit the shelves, clad in all the appropriate pastels.

Pink very quickly inches in front, taking up a larger portion of the shoe’s construction. The suede toe cap, eye stays, and heel flaunt the light floral, while the mid-panel and enlarged “N” logo opt for subtler hits of violet and blue, respectively. Bold yellows also make an appearance, albeit only along the barely exposed foam. Finally, neutrals round out the adjacent sole and lace unit, with black marking the tread and white shades the midsole, strings, and tongue.

For a closer look at this Easter-themed XC-72 see below. Sizes are available via NewBalance.com at a retail of $120 USD.

In other news, a pouch-adorned New Balance 2002R will also be releasing within the next few months.
