Parley’s Latest adidas Originals Collection Favors A White And Black Look And Boost-Cushioning

For almost a decade, Parley for the Oceans and adidas have done their part on the sustainability front, turning waste disposed at sea into materials for footwear and apparel. Their latest collaborative collection places a “Cloud White” and “Core Black” color combination onto five different adidas Originals designs, as well as drop-in Boost midsoles.

Leather, suede and canvas materials land throughout Parley’s latest Three Stripes collection. The adidas Forum Mid, Superstar, Stan Smith, ZX 8000 and Nizza High are overtaken by classic white and black arrangements that allow for the sneakers’ experimental modifications to appear much more prominently. Canvas found throughout the next adidas Originals capsule is made from 100% Parley Ocean Plastic gathered off the coast of the Dominican Republic; non-standard Boost drop-in midsoles are made using 20% shredded Boost foam; and other non-virgin materials. Sole units favor an “aged” look, with tread revealing the revolutionary Boost-cushioning across all upcoming shoes.
