The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Fresh” Is Covered In A Greyscale Ensemble

The Nike Air Force 1 Low‘s roster of releases is arguably unrivaled. Away from the high-profile collaborations prepped for its 40th anniversary, Bruce Kilgore’s design is launching in compelling solo efforts.

Recently, the made-for-basketball sneaker appeared in a clean mix of “Sail/Light Smoke Grey/Photon Dust” as part of Nike Sportswear’s “Certified Fresh” collection. Slated for a Fall 2022 release, the latest take on Kilgore’s 1982 creation indulges in a non-standard mix of suede and textile materials across its upper. Varying shades of grey divvy up the Air Force 1‘s panels, with the darkest tones landing on the profile swooshes and Achilles’ heel overlay. Sole units underfoot harken back to years past with their yellowed, “aged” look, while logos at the top of the tongue and sock-liners also introduce non-traditional flair to the pair.

No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed yet, but that’s likely to change as summer gets going. As you wait, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.

In related sneaker news, check out the Kobe 6 Protro “Mambacita” expected to officially release soon.
