The Nike Dunk Low SE “Patchwork,” which is also referred to as the “Animal,” is not unlike the “What The” offerings before it. But rather than rely on iconic releases from the past, the colorway plays around with previously-used animal prints, combining them in a fashion that’s familiar in and of itself.
Here, the construction is assembled from patterns seen throughout the years prior. Even Safari Print makes a brief cameo, dressing the forefoot adjacent to hits of leopard, the latter of which also outfits the heel counter. Teal and purple faux furs, then, sit along the ankle flaps, while the neighboring overlays — i.e. the Swoosh and eye stays — opt for solid-colored suedes and leathers, respectively. The base and midsole, too, are straightforward, as their neutral surfaces are bereft of any spots.
For yet another look at this animalistic Dunk Low, check out the retailer imagery below. These are about to hit select retailers and Nike SNKRS tomorrow, May 5th, so take a peek at the store list below.
In other news, early images of the PSG Air Jordan 5 Low have surfaced.
