Michael Le The media — ourselves included — often praise Salehe Bembury for his prowess as a designer, with many of his New Balance offerings crowned the best of their respective years. And for 2022, Bembury shows no signs of slowing down, as he’s about to release the next few colorways of his Crocs Pollex Clog. Among them, the “Urchin” is by far the most versatile, opting for a simple, greyed out palette.
Much like the “Stratus,” which will also be releasing this month, the “Urchin” goes for a more neutral-dominant look. Inspired by Bembury’s own fingerprints, the remolded upper features the titular grey shade across its every groove, with matching webbing fastening the side. The attached hardware and rubberized tread are much more desaturated, tonally, contrasting the slight purple tint the rest of the shoe employs.
