This Nike Air Force 1 Celebrates The Game Of Basketball With USA Colors

Nike and the NBA have a long-standing history riddled with multiple collaborations. Just last year, for example, the two teamed up for the association’s Diamond Anniversary, preparing no shortage of on-theme Blazers, Dunks, and the like. And while it’s not quite a part of the official partnership, this upcoming Air Force 1 seems to come from a similar place, as it pays homage to basketball using the colors shared by the American flag and the NBA logo.

Fully prepared for the Fourth of July, the colorway starts with a white base. Red checks and branding are then stacked atop, doing so just adjacent to equally seldom hits of blue. But though lesser used, these two shades form the pair’s most outstanding feature: the heel’s embroidered logo, which blends the Swoosh within a basketball.
